On Choosing Stanford: "I decided on Stanford for several reasons. The first was that I wanted to stay closer to my family. I've only been in California for three years, so I didn't need a change of scenery, plus Palo Alto's a good distance from where I'm from. I really wanted to be at school with my brother, and Stanford is more familiar and more home-like for me. I just got more excited with the thought of going to Stanford than I did of going anywhere else. It had everything I wanted - good academics, the right size, and really fun, involving athletics. It was really important to me to go to a school that had a lot of school spirit."
