USA Water Polo

• Represented her country since 2011
• Took home gold at the World University Games in Taipei in August 2017
  • Rattled the cage 15 times on 21 shots (71.4 percent) and also led the U.S. with nine steals
• Won FINA World Championship gold in Budapest, Hungary in July 2017, scoring five times
• Made her senior women's national team debut and won gold at the FINA World League Super Final in Shanghai, China in June 2017
• Scored six goals and won gold at the FINA Junior World Championships in Volos, Greece in August 2015
  • Team USA went a perfect 6-0 and outscored its opponents 106-46
  • In group play, scored once against Mexico (8/17), twice against Ukraine (8/18) and one against Spain (8/19)
  • Scored once in a 12-9 quarterfinal win over Brazil (8/21)
  • Netted another goal in a 13-11 victory in the semifinals against Russia (8/22)
• Stanford represented the United States and finished fifth at the 2015 World University Games in Gwangju, South Korea
  • Played 153 minutes in seven games, scored seven goals, had seven assists, one steal and five field blocks
• In 2014, won gold with the U.S. Women's Youth National Team at both the UANA Junior Pan American Championships and the FINA World Youth Championships
  • Scored 13 total goals over six games at the UANA Junior Pan American Championships in Riverside, Calif., highlighted by four in a 19-4 victory over Brazil on July 11
    • The U.S. was a perfect 6-0 and defeated Mexico, Canada, Puerto Rico (twice) and Brazil (twice) by a combined score of 107-18.
  • Scored four times at the FINA World Youth Championships in Madrid, Spain from Aug. 25-31, including three in the opener against Hungary, a 14-9 U.S. win
    • Raney and Team USA, which also included current Stanford teammates Madison Berggren and Kat Klass, swept their way to the title
    • The United States beat Hungary, South Africa, Germany, Netherlands, Greece and Canada
  • Underwent common training with Team Japan in May in Southern California
• In 2013, was part of the U.S. Women's Youth National Team that underwent common training with Team Australia in August in Southern California
  • Competed at the Futures 50 Classic at Foothill High School in Santa Ana, Calif. from Oct. 25-27
• In 2012, was part of the U.S. Women's Cadet National Team that underwent common training with Team Canada in July in Southern California
• Made her U.S. debut with the silver-medal winning Cadet Women's National Team in 2011 at the UANA Youth Pan American Championships in Puerto Rico

Prior to Stanford

• A 2014 graduate of Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, Calif.
• Lettered four years in water polo
  • Team captain as a senior in 2014
  • Won the outright Bay League Championship in 2014 and were co-champions in 2011, 2012 and 2013
  • Advanced to the CIF-SS Division III finals in 2014, the quarterfinals in 2013 and the CIF-SS Division I first round in both 2011 and 2012
  • As a senior, was named league MVP, area MVP, CIF MVP, All-SoCal and an All-American
  • As a junior, was named league MVP, All-Area, All-CIF, All-SoCal and an All-American
• Played for Huntington Beach Water Polo Club from 2011-14 and the Trojan Water Polo Club in 2010
  • Huntington Beach won the Junior Olympic (18U) silver medal in 2013
  • Individually, was a Junior Olympic All-American in 2012, 2013 and 2014
