• Placed third at the SFSU Open (Nov. 3) and the Mike Clock Open (Nov. 10)
• Went 2-2 at the Roadrunner Open (Nov. 17) and the Reno Tournament of Champions (Dec. 22)
• Finished 3-2 at the California Collegiate Open (Feb. 1)

As a Freshman (2012-13)

• Wrestled at 174 pounds as a true freshman
• Posted a 10-10 record and a 1-4 mark in duals
• Led the team with five falls
• Posted a fall in 1:44 over Simpson's Brady Beamon (Nov. 3) for his lone dual win of the year
• Went 5-2 at the Roadrunner Open, including a season-best four match winning streak
• Tied for sixth place at the California Collegiate Open with a 4-2 record 

High School

• A 2012 graduate of Redwood High School in Larkspur, Calif.
• A four-year letterwinner, captained his team in 2011 and 2012
• Finished seventh in the state tournament in 2012
