As a Redshirt Sophomore (2014-15)

• Split time at 184 and 197 pounds, finishing with a 14-14 overall record and a 3-6 mark in duals
• Went 3-2 at the Roadrunner Open (Nov. 16), including his first career fall
• Finished 4-2 at the Reno Tournament of Champions (Dec. 21)
• Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team

As a Sophomore (2013-14)

• Redshirted his second season on The Farm
• Wrestled unattached at 184 pounds, recording a 10-6 record
• Won the California Collegiate Open in San Francisco (Feb. 1)
• Went 2-2 at the Reno Tournament of Champions 

As a Freshman (2012-13)

• Compiled a 9-16 overall record, wrestling at 174 and 184 pounds
• Was 2-8 in dual competition
• Placed fifth at the Pac-12 Championships in Tempe, Ariz., at 184 pounds
• Went 4-2 at the Roadrunner Open at 174 pounds in early November
• Finished 2-2 at the Reno Tournament of Champions in mid-December

High School

• A 2012 graduate of Clovis High School in Clovis, Calif.
• A four-year letterwinner in wrestling
• Part of the state championship team as a senior
• The squad finished fifth nationally, marking the highest rank by a California squad
• Individually, placed fourth at the state tournament in 2012
• Also earned three letters in football, in which he was an all-conference selection and captained the team for two seasons
