As a Sophomore (2013-14)

• Walked on to the team, adding depth at 165 pounds
• Lone win came during the Mike Clock Open (Nov. 10), a 10-4 decision over Junior Benitez of Highline Communicty College
• Also wrestled in the SFSU Open (Nov. 3), Roadrunner Open (Nov. 17), Reno Tournament of Champions (Dec. 22) and the Clackamas Open (Jan. 18)

High School

• A 2012 graduate of Newark Memorial High School in Newark, Calif.
• A three-year letter winner in wrestling
• Also earned three letters in track and field and two in cross country
• Captained his cross country team his senior year
