Brian Talbott

Brian Talbott is Stanford's Deputy Athletics Director and Chief Financial Officer.

Talbott is responsible for several administrative areas within the department, including business and finance, human resources, and facilities and operations.  He also has oversight of the Stanford Golf Course and the Recreation and Wellness department and serves as sport administrator for women’s soccer, women’s gymnastics and beach volleyball.

Talbott has been with Stanford Athletics since 2006. Prior to his arrival he was the director of strategy and finance for the central human resources department at Stanford from 2003-06 and worked for several years in a management consulting firm in Los Angeles that specialized in financial and human resources consulting.

Talbott received his bachelor's degree from Pomona College in 1997 and a master’s of business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern in 2003.

Talbott was born in Palo Alto and currently resides in San Francisco with his wife, Natalie, their daughter, Madeline, and son, Connor. Talbott enjoys skiing, hiking, camping and traveling. He has visited 48 states and over 30 foreign countries.
