Dajon Owens joined the Stanford football staff as the Assistant Director of Recruiting Operations in 2026.
Owens comes to The Farm after spending the first few months of 2026 as Assistant Director of Player Personnel at Oklahoma State. In that role, he supported the Cowboys' recruiting and roster management efforts, assisting with player personnel operations, recruiting organization, and the evaluation process while working closely with the coaching staff and recruiting department.
Prior to Oklahoma State, Owens served as a player personnel and recruiting assistant at Colorado State in 2025, helping coordinate the Rams' recruiting operations and personnel processes. Before beginning his career in college athletics, Owens played professionally for the Cologne Centurions of the European League of Football during the 2023 and 2024 seasons.
A former defensive back, Owens began his collegiate playing career at Long Beach City College before spending three seasons at Colorado State and concluding his career at Stony Brook in 2021. He earned a bachelor's degree in communication from Colorado State and later received a master's degree in sport performance and psychology from National University in 2024.
