Jennifer Zimbroff serves as Deputy General Counsel and Managing Attorney in Stanford’s Office of the General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer for Stanford Athletics.  As Chief Legal Officer, Zimbroff oversees the athletics department’s legal affairs and advises leadership on legal, regulatory, business, operational, and risk-related matters.

Prior to joining Stanford in 2014, Zimbroff served as Assistant University Counsel in Princeton University’s Office of the General Counsel.  Zimbroff also practiced labor and employment law and litigation at the Los Angeles offices of Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP and Latham & Watkins LLP.  Zimbroff received her B.A. degree with honors from Stanford University and her J.D. from Duke University School of Law where she was an extern in the Duke University Office of Counsel.  She serves on the Board of Directors of the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA).
