Former Stanford and NFL tight end Jim Dray enters his first season on the Cardinal football coaching staff in 2018, and will serve as an offensive assistant.
Dray was a four-year starter for the Cardinal from 2005-09, and finished his career with 41 receptions for 455 yards, 11.1 yards/catch and seven touchdowns. He recovered from a serious knee injury in 2008 and led all Stanford tight ends with three receiving touchdowns in 2009.
A native of New Milford, New Jersey, Dray was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the seventh round of the 2010 NFL Draft. Dray spent four seasons with the Cardinals, two with the Cleveland Browns, and also spent time with the Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers.
