Myles Amine joined the Stanford wrestling staff as an assistant coach in July 2026. He enters his first season with the Cardinal in 2026-27.
A bronze medalist at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games at 86 kg freestyle, Amine delivered San Marino its first Olympic wrestling medal in history and returned to the Olympic stage in Paris in 2024, placing fifth.
On the senior international circuit he added a bronze medal at the 2023 World Championships in Belgrade and a European Championships title in 2022, competing for San Marino.
At Michigan, Amine made NCAA history as the first five-time All-American in NCAA Championships history (2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022), capped by an NCAA runner-up finish at 184 pounds in 2022.
A two-time Big Ten champion (2021, 2022), Amine was named Co-Big Ten Wrestler of the Championships in 2022. He compiled a 125–23 career record, ranking 13th in program history in wins, helping lead the Wolverines to the 2022 Big Ten team title. He was also a two-time College Sports Communicators (CSC), formerly CoSIDA, Academic All-American.
Amine earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business in 2020 and obtained his master's in sport management from Michigan's School of Kinesiology in 2022.
