The poll shows Stanford gathered 36 of the possible 37 first place votes and are tabbed the favorite this season ... Stanford is the first school, other than UCLA and Arizona, to sit atop the preseason poll since California was tabbed by the media to win the Pac-10 title in 1994 ...
