The Cardinal will compete in the Petite Final on Saturday

Men's Crew takes fifth at IRA semifinals.

CAMDEN, N.J. - The Stanford Men's Varsity Eight finished fifth in the IRA semi-finals Friday afternoon on the Cooper River in Camden, NJ. Stanford's time of 5:43.80 is its fastest of the season. The Cardinal will enter Saturday's Petite Final with the second fastest time of the six participating teams.

Earlier Friday, Stanford's Freshmen Four advanced to the Grand Final by winning its repechage. The Cardinal frosh will compete for the National title on Saturday.
