STANFORD, Calif. - Junior Milena Flores sparked a late second-half rally, but it wasn't enough as No. 15 Texas Tech held on to win 75-69 at Maples Pavilion Friday night.

Flores scored eight of her game-high 20 points in the final 2:30 as the Cardinal trimmed a 14-point deficit to as little as five points, but the Lady Raiders found success at the free throw line to hold off Stanford. The Cardinal trailed by as many as 20 points early in the second half after only posting 18 points by intermission. As a team, the Cardinal only shot 19 percent, while Texas Tech found its touch, shooting 32 percent, 67 percent from behind the three-point arc (eight for 12).

Freshman Lindsey Yamasaki, who was held to zero points in the first half, returned from the lockerroom at the half and registered 19 points - 10 of those came in a three-minute span midway through the second half.

Senior Angie Braziel led Texas Tech with 17 points and 15 rebounds, in only 21 minutes of action.

Stanford drops to 1-4 on the season while the Lady Raiders improve to 3-1.
