Men's Soccer Ties Air Force 1-1

In the second MPSF Conference game of the season, Stanford tied the Air Force Academy Falcons 1-1 in double overtime.

Air Force got an early lead as Donavon Kneuer scored for the Falcons in the 6th minute of play. Stanford did not get on the board until the 71st minute, when sophomore defender Lee Morrison scored from five yards out of the goal off a cross from Gerard Davis. The game went into double overtime, but ended with a 1-1 tie.

The tie with the Falcons makes the Cardinal's record 6-2-2, 1-0-1 in the MPSF. After a two games on the road, Stanford will return home next weekend to host Cal Poly Friday, Oct. 15 at 7:30 p.m. and Sacramento State Sunday, Oct. 17 at 2 p.m. at New Maloney Field.
