Stanford, Calif. - The sixth-ranked Stanford women's golf team shot a second round 303, for a two-day total of 602, for eighth place at the Stanford/Pepsi Women's Intercollegiate at the Stanford Golf Course.
The Cardinal fell from fifth place after the first round to eighth place with the completion of two rounds, trailing tournament leader Tulsa by 20 strokes.
Stanford is led by All-American junior Stephanie Keever, who shot a second round 76 for a two-day total of 149. Keever is tied with seven other golfers for 18th place.
All-American junior Hilary Homeyer and junior Lauren Robertson are among ten golfers tied for 25th place with a 150. Homeyer has rounds of 76 and 74 while Robertson shot a first round 74 and a second round 76.
Senior JaeJean Ro is in 43rd place (76-77-153) and freshman Kim Rowton has put together two-rounds of 77 for a 47th place 154.
Tulsa's Stacy Prammanasudh leads the tournament field after finishing today's round with a 66, one stroke off the tournament record. Prammanasudh has a two day total of 139, leading second place Tamie Durdin by three strokes.
