Stanford, Calif. - The sixth-ranked Stanford women's golf team concluded the Stanford/Pepsi Women's Intercollegiate today with a seventh place finish in the 18-team tournament at the Stanford Golf Course.
The Cardinal shot a team-best 298 to finish the three-day event with a 900, which left them 21-strokes behind first place Tulsa.
Junior All-American Stephanie Keever shot an even-par 72 on the final 18-holes to conclude the tournament in a tie with Elisha Au of Washington with a 221.
Keever ended the tournament 11 strokes off the pace, behind Tulsa's Stacy Prammanasudh who shot a final round 71 for a 210 three day total.
Junior All-American Hilary Homeyer finished tied for 24th place with a 226, while senior JaeJean Ro shot her best round of the tournament (74) to move into a tie for 32nd place with a 227. One of the golfers Ro is tied with is junior teammate Lauren Robertson who shot a final round 77.
Freshman Kim Rowton knocked a stroke off of her scores in the first two rounds with a final day 76 for a total 230.
Stanford will travel to the Golf World/Palmetto Dunes Invitational in Hilton Head, S.C. on November 5-7, to conclude its Fall schedule.
