STOCKTON, Calif. - Sean Joy scored three goals and Pasi Dutton added two goals to lead second-ranked Stanford to a 10-6 victory over seventh-ranked Pacific in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) water polo game on Saturday.
Joy scored two of his goals in the first period as the Cardinal jumped to a 3-1 lead.
Stanford outscored Pacific, 6-3, in the fourth quarter, with all six points coming after Tiger ejections.
Freshman Nick Ellis tallied six saves in goal.
Stanford hosts UC Santa Barbara on Sunday at noon at deGuerre Pool.
