STANFORD, Calif. - The Stanford men's golf team posted a 22-over-par 372 and sits in ninth place after the first round of the Pac-10 Men's Golf Championships, held at the Broadmoor Golf Club in Seattle, Wash.

Arizona State leads all teams with a two-under 348, led by the strong play of Sun Devil Paul Casey, who leads all competitors with a three-under 67 on the par 70, 6,186-yard layout. In fact, three of the 10 golfers that recorded under-par scores were from Arizona State. Oregon is currently in second after carding a 351. UCLA and host Washington are third with 354s, while USC rounds out the top five teams with a 358.

Leading the Cardinal is Joel Kribel, whose even-par 70 puts him a tie for 11th place. Dusty Brett's 73 places him in tie for 26th, while Rudy Barreto is one stroke behind Brett for a share 33rd place.

The second round is scheduled to be played Monday afternoon.
