No. 5 Cardinal Defeats Oregon

STANFORD, Calif. - For the third time in as many days, the fifth-ranked Stanford Cardinal women's tennis team swept a Pac-10 rival, topping Oregon 9-0 Sunday afternoon at Taube Family Tennis Stadium.

On Friday afternoon, the Cardinal opened up conference action with a sweep over Washington State. Yesterday, Stanford defeated Washington.

Stanford improves to 5-0 in dual-match action, 3-0 in the Pac-10.

The team will conclude its five-match homestand Tues., Feb. 2 vs. Santa Clara. The match will begin at 1:30 p.m. at Taube Family Tennis Stadium.
