STANFORD, Calif. - Todd Snider and Mark Amott each scored two goals to lead the second-ranked Stanford water polo team to a season-opening 9-1 victory over ninth-ranked Pacific on Saturday at deGuerre Pool.
After a scoreless first period, the Cardinal scored three goals in each of the next three periods.
Nick Ellis, a redshirt freshman, collected ten saves in his collegiate debut.
Stanford travels to UC Davis on Sunday for a non-conference game. Game time at Solano Junior College is noon.
