Sunriver, Ore. - The ninth-ranked Stanford women's golf team concluded play at the NCAA Fall Preview at the Crosswater Club in Sunriver, Ore. today, placing tied for seventh with a final score of 910.
Junior Hilary Homeyer (Edina, Minn.) led the Cardinal in a tie for 11th-place after shooting a final round 76 on the par 72 course. For the tournament, Homeyer totaled 222 strokes.
Fellow junior Stephanie Keever (Las Vegas, Nev.) completed her first tournament of the season in a 20th place tie after shooting a three round total 225. Keever closed out today's competition with a three-over par 75.
The Cardinal's best round of the day came from freshman Kim Rowton (San Antonio, Texas). Rowton, shot a career-best one-over par 73 in just her third round of collegiate golf. For the tournament Rowton finished with a final score of 236 placing her 65th.
Stanford will return to action on October 11, when they travel to the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational in Redmond, Wash.
