No. 2 Women's Water Polo Sweeps Day Two of UC San Diego Tournament

San Diego, Calif. - Junior Anne-Marie Keenan scored five goals to help Stanford women's water polo sweep the second day of the UC San Diego Tournament. Keenan contributed four goals in the 14-1 win over UC San Diego, and one point in a 5-3 victory over UCLA.

Junior Kris Koblik contributed four goals, two against UCSD and two against UCLA. Sophomore Kate Pettit and junior Hilary Gallogly both contributed one goal in each game. Freshman Julie Gardner scored three points against UCSD.

The Cardinal now have a record of 4-0 in the 2000 season. The team will go up against California on Sunday in order to make it to the championship game, being played Sunday at 5:20 p.m. USC and UCLA will face off to compete for a spot in the tournament championship game as well.
