Stanford, Calif. - No. 2 Stanford women's water polo routed MPSF foe Pacific 9-3 at the Cardinal's season home opener on Thursday, March 23.
Sophomore Margie Dingeldein, junior Kelly Shouey and freshman Julie Gardner led the Cardinal with two goals each to the 9-3 victory. Juniors Kris Koblik, Ali Riddell and Anne-Marie Keenan each contributed one goal. Junior Alli Henry defended the net for the Cardinal and held the Tigers scoreless for the first two periods of play.
The Cardinal remains unbeaten in the conference with an MPSF record of 5-0, 14-3 overall. Stanford will host top-ranked Cal on Sunday, March 26 at noon at deGuerre Pool.
