Iowa City, IA -- The Stanford men's gymnastics team continued to take on the nation's top gymnasts as they took part in the NCAA Individual preliminary events at the Carver-Hawkeye Arena at the University of Iowa today.
In the individual events, Jason Katsampes finished 46th on the pommel horse (8.950) and 48th on the still rings (8.650), while Craig Nesbitt had the highest Stanford finish on the afternoon with a 9.575 on the vault for a 13th place finish. Rico Andrade completed the parallel bars with an 8.650 for 45th place. Katsampes also had a 47th place finish on the horizontal bars.
Only the top three gymnasts advance to tomorrow's event final competition.
