Stanford, Calif. -- New Head Coach Andy Nelson will have his first chance to show the Cardinal fans what to expect next season when his team plays its first Spring 2000 game on Saturday, April 15 at New Maloney Field beginning at 1:00 p.m. Last year's squad posted a 15-5-1 overall record and a 7-1-1 record in the Pac-10. After reaching the third round of the NCAA tournament, they finished the year ranked No. 7 by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
