Men's Golf Takes 10th In Windon Memorial Classic

LAKE FOREST, Illinois - The Stanford men's golf team finished in 10th place Tuesday at the Windon Memorial Classic, hosted by Northwestern University at the Knollwood Club Golf Course (Par 72-6,920 yards).

As a team, the Cardinal shot a 54-hole total of 898 (296-295-307), while Oklahoma won the 12-team tournament with a three-round total of 868.

Junior Philip Rowe (Cornwall, UK) and sophomore Jim Seki (Honolulu, HI) were the top finishers for Stanford in 19th place (tie). Rowe posted rounds of 76, 71 and 75 for a total of 222 (+6), while Seki shot a 73, 71 and 78.

Senior Eric Dahlberg (Fort Worth, TX) finished in a tie for 23rd with a 223 (+7). He carded a 73, 74 and 76 over the two-day event. Alex Aragon (San Diego, CA) recorded a 231 (74-79-78) for a 46th-place finish (tie), and Ron Won (Irvine, CA) placed 60th with a 259 (88-86-85).

The Cardinal is next in action at the Fresno State Lexus Classic on Oct. 13-14.
