Women's Golf Tied for Second Heading Into Final Round of Pepsi Intercollegiate

The Stanford women's golf team shot a 290 today to tie for second with Southern California heading into the final round of the Stanford/Pepsi Intercollegiate, held at the Stanford Golf Course in Stanford, Calif. Arizona remained in the lead (277-293--570), 12 strokes ahead of both Stanford and USC. Rounding out the top five are New Mexico State (595) and Pepperdine (595).

Three players are tied for first after two rounds, Tulsa's Stacy Prammanasudh (140) and Arizona's Lorena Ochoa (140) and Natalie Gulbis (140).

Leading the Cardinal is freshman Angela Rho (142) who is tied for seventh, just two strokes out of first. She is followed by Hilary Homeyer and Kim Rowton who are only five strokes behind the leaders at 145. Stanford's Jessica Belskis checks in tied for 29th (77-75--152) with teammate Kim Kouwabunpat, who is competing as an individual. Stephanie Keever is tied for 48th at 155.

The tournament will wrap up tomorrow at the Stanford Golf Course. There will be a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
