STANFORD, Calif. (AP) - Lauren St. Clair scored 13 points and Enjoli Izidor added 12 Monday night to lead No. 18 Stanford to an 85-57 victory over Santa Clara.
The Broncos stayed with Stanford for the first six minutes, trailing 11-10 following a layup by Kendra Rhea. But Stanford used points from six players in an 11-4 run over the next 2:58.
The Cardinal closed out the first half with a 17-9 run for a 39-23 halftime lead.
Stanford built on its lead in the second half and received a total of 16 points from St. Clair and Izidor over the final 20 minutes.
Annie Garrison scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for Santa Clara. Caroline Gruening had 11 points, and Rhea added 10.
