Box Score

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) - Lindsey Dion scored 16 points, and Angelina Wolvert hit the go-ahead basket with 13 seconds remaining as Oregon defeated No. 24 Stanford 61-57 Thursday night.

The Ducks (16-7, 7-3 Pac-10) moved into a tie for third place in the conference with Stanford (14-6, 7-3). Arizona leads the league at 8-2, and UCLA is 7-2.

After Wolvert's layup, Stanford point guard Milena Flores threw the ball out of bounds. Wolvert took the inbounds pass and was fouled, but missed the first free throw with just under five seconds to go. Thinking it was a two-shot foul, no one went for the rebound, and finally a Stanford player heaved the ball toward the basket, but it was far short.

Oregon's Shaquala Williams made two free throws with eight-tenths of a second left.

Wolvert had 12 points and Jenny Mowe had 11 for the Ducks. Dion was making her first start since a concussion against Cal on Jan. 13.

Lauren St. Clair and Carolyn Moos each scored 12 points for the Cardinal. Flores had eight assists but committed seven turnovers.

Stanford, which leads the Pac-10 in 3-point shooting at 44 percent, made just 2-of-11.
