Stanford Women's Golf Tied For Seventh Place after First Round

Sunriver, Ore. -- The fifth-ranked Stanford women's golf team concluded the first round of play at the NCAA Women's Golf Championships in a tie for seventh place with a 301 at the Crosswater Club in Sunriver, Ore. The Cardinal is in a tie with Tennessee and trail tournament leader Oregon (295).

Junior All-American Hilary Homeyer is pacing all Stanford golfers after the opening day, with a 73 for tenth place. Three other Cardinal golfers, junior Stephanie Keever, senior JaeJean Ro and freshman Kim Rowton are in a tie for 44th place after a round of 76. Junior Salimah Mussani is in 126th place with a 90.

Stacy Prammansudh of Tulsa leads the tournament after shooting a three-under 69 on the 6,482-yard course.
