No. 5 Women's Golf Wins Dual With Embry-Riddle

Three Cardinal players posted rounds of 74 as the No. 5 Stanford women's golf team defeated Embry-Riddle, 297-389, in a dual tournament on Wednesday at the LPGA International's Legends Course.

Hilary Homeyer, Stephanie Keever and Kim Kouwabunpat all shot the day's low (74), while teammate Angela Rho registered a 75 to round out Stanford's scoring. Freshman Marcia Wallis checked in with an 80 while sophomore Kim Rowton, competing as an individual, posted an 84. Junior Jessica Belskis, also competing as an individual, carded an 86 on the afternoon.

Embry-Riddle was led by freshman Hilary Hurley, who tallied a 94 on the day. Brooke Cummings and Mari Lynn Nato followed with rounds of 97 each.

Stanford is next in action Friday through Sunday, April 6-8, at the PING/ASU Invitational, hosted by Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, at the Karsten Golf Course.
