Keever and Homeyer Earn NGCA All-America Honors

Stanford, Calif. - Stanford senior Stephanie Keever (Las Vegas, Nev.) earned first-team All-America honors while senior Hilary Homeyer was an honorable mention selection as announced by the National Golf Coaches Association on Tuesday.

Keever led the team in scoring average (73.8) and posted seven top-10 finishes this season for the Cardinal. Keever posted two individual titles this season with victories at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational and the PING/ASU Invitational.

She finished the year ranked No. 11 nationally in the MasterCard Collegiate Golf Rankings. Keever, who led the Cardinal to a ninth-place finish at the 2001 NCAA Championships, finished tied for 60th at NCAAs.

Homeyer was second on the squad with a 74.5 stroke average and recorded nine top 25 finishes as well as four top 10 finishes during the 2000-01 season.

She finished the year ranked No. 27 nationally in the MasterCard Collegiate Golf Rankings. Homeyer, tied for 38th at NCAAs.
