Stanford Men's Golf Tied for 3rd After Second Day of the John Burns Intercollegiate

The Stanford men's golf team is tied for third place coming into the final day of play in the John Burns Intercollegiate, hosted by the University of Hawaii. The Cardinal posted a first-round of 275 on the Leleihua Golf Course, a par-72. On the second day, Stanford recorded a three-under round of 285 to give them a two day total of 560--16 under par.

Junior Philip Rowe and senior Alex Aragon lead the pack with a two-day total of 137. They tie with Fresno State's Dustin Smith for fourth place at seven under par. Senior Jimmy Lee is one stroke behind them, good for seventh place. Jim Seki shot a 74 for the second straight day tying him for 55th while Ron Won rounded out the field with a two-day total of 153 good for a tie at 83rd.

Stanford will play the final round of the John Burns Intercollegiate on Fri., Feb. 23.
