STANFORD, Calif. (AP) - Lauren St. Clair had 14 points, including four 3-pointers in the second half, as Stanford extended its winning streak to six games with a 63-54 victory over Oregon Thursday night.
Enjoli Izidor added 12 points and nine rebounds for Stanford (13-7, 7-3) which has not won six consecutive games since it won seven in a row from Jan. 21 to Feb. 14, 1999.
Angelina Wolvert had 11 points and seven rebounds for Oregon (12-8, 5-5), which has lost three straight and dropped out of the Top 25 this week.
The Ducks kept it close after the Cardinal took their biggest lead of the game, 33-22, on St. Clair's 3-pointer to open the second half. With both teams playing stronger defense than offense, Oregon whittled at Stanford's lead, coming to within 45-42 on Wolvert's free throws with 5:22 to go.
Stanford answered with another 3-pointer from St. Clair, but Oregon came back to within 50-49 with just more than three minutes to go.
St. Clair hit two more 3-pointers in a critical 8-0 final run that stretched Stanford's lead to 58-49. The Ducks couldn't catch up.
Stanford, ranked as high as No. 14 in December, trailed 16-12 early, but went on a 10-0 run to take a 22-16 lead on Sarah Dimson's layup at 3:38.
Stanford pulled away, and Lindsey Yamasaki thrust her fist into the air jubilantly when she nailed a 3-pointer with about two minutes left in the half to go up 29-18.
Oregon, which beat Stanford earlier this season in Eugene, trailed 30-22 at the half.
Wolvert, the Ducks' top scorer, crumpled to the ground clutching her ankle early in the first half but returned to play.
