Stanford Head Coach Mike Montgomery -
Opening Statement: I thought defensively we were good early. Our assist to turnover ratio was not as good as the other night, but we shot the ball well and had good distribution. It's going to get tougher, we're going on the road to LA next week. Tonight helped us get some confidence and some good minutes. Tonight was just one game and a home game, but hopefully we're improving.

On guarding Doug Wrenn: We had trouble with Wrenn at the four, especially with Justin Davis and Teyo Johnson in some foul trouble. But Casey Jacobsen did a great job on him and we wanted to keep him there.

On the transition game: Our transition game is an ongoing process. It's a lot easier when you have a lead to be loose, but we've got to be able to do that in a closer game. We've got to make them make choices at the end.

Washington Head Coach Bob Bender -
Opening Statement: There is always a chance things can unravel, but you never expect a margin like this. Anytime you don't get a shot, or a good shot, you run the risk of them taking control.

On tonight being an anomaly or a pattern: Hopefully, we'll get a good read on that when we go home - we'll see if it sticks with them. If we had won on Thursday and then this had happened, I might let this go as just one of those nights. Now I have to wait and see their reaction.
