Stanford, Calif. - Junior Ogonna Nnamani had a team-high 12 kills as the fourth-ranked Stanford women's volleyball team fell to No. 3 Florida tonight, 3-0, at Maples Pavilion in Stanford, Calif. Game scores were 17-30, 25-30, 18-30.

The Cardinal drop to 4-1 on the season while the Gators improve to 6-1 in non-conference competition.

Florida hit .330 for the match while holding Stanford to a season-low .089 on the night. The Cardinal were outblocked 12.5 to seven.

For Stanford, middle blockers Sara McGee and Jennifer Harvey chipped in seven kills a piece while Harvey added a team-high four blocks on the night. Libero Leahi Hall led the team with a career-high 13 digs for the Cardinal.

For Florida, Benavia Jenkins had a match-high 13 kills along with eight blocks. Teammate Jacque Robinson chipped in 10 kills and four blocks on the evening. Aury Cruz led the match with 14 digs.

Florida's Benavia Jenkins was named tournament MVP and was joined by teammates Aury Cruz and Sherri Williams on the all-tournament team. Stanford's Ogonna Nnamani and Jennifer Harvey, along with UCSB's Olivia Waldowski were also tabbed to the all-tourney squad.

The Cardinal are back in action on Tuesday, September 9 at 7 p.m. in Maples Pavilion against St. Mary's College in a non-conference match up.
