Redwood Shores, Calif. - On Saturday morning the conditions were less than ideal for racing with rainy skies and strong head winds. Both races unfolded in similar fashion with Stanford moving ahead at the 500 meter mark. The Stanford varsity eight crossed the line with a time of 7:25 followed by the Cal varsity at 7:40. In the following race the Stanford novice won their race with a time of 7:40 over Cal's novice eight crossing the line at 8:03.
Next up, the Cardinal lightweights travel to Sacramento to race the Sacramento State Hornets on Saturday April 26th.
