Pacific jumped out to 10-4 lead in game one, but the Cardinal closed the gap to 16-14. Stanford then scored seven in a row behind the serve of Curtis, and never looked back.

Stanford put away the hosts in game two with a late 6-0 run that created a commanding 27-18 advantage. The Cardinal out-hit the Tigers .400 (16-4-30)-.152 (13-8-33) in the second game.

Pacific took the lead for good in game three at 16-15. The Cardinal cut a four-point deficit to two at 29-27, but could get no closer. The Tigers hit .680 (18-1-25) en route to the game three victory.
