Redwood Shores, CA - Racing in near perfect conditions, the Cal Novices took control of the race early, and never looked back. Cal finished in a time of 6:51 and theStanford Lightweight Varsity finished at 7:02. Coach Al Acostacommented, "the team is working really hard, and we are looking forward toour championship races in the following weeks." Next up for the CardinalLightweights is the Pacific Coast Rowing Championships in Rancho Cordova,CA on May 15th. The Stanford Lightweights have won the PCRC's two years ina row. Three weeks later, the Card will travel to Cherry Hill, NJ for theIRA Collegiate National Championships.
