Stanford Comes From Behind To Knock Off USC

David Vogel had 19 kills while hitting .514 to help the No. 10-ranked Stanford men's volleyball team come back and beat No. 15 USC, 3-1 (26-30, 30-27, 30-23, 30-22), in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation match on Saturday in USC's Lyon Center.

Stanford improves to 9-11 (8-9 MPSF) heading into next week's home stand.

Ben Reddy added 12 kills and 9 digs for the Cardinal, while teammates Craig Buell, Chris Ahlfeldt and William Clayton each had 10 kills. Kevin Hansen posted 53 assists while Buell also added 5 blocks.

USC held a 20-18 lead in the second game, but Stanford stormed back after a timeout to score the next 4 points to gain control of the game and, ultimately, the match.

Stanford improves to 9-11 (8-9 MPSF) heading into next week's home stand.
