Ahimsa Hodari Places Fifth at Cal Heptathlon Championship

Azusa, Ca - Ahimsa Hodari finished fifth among 26 competitors on Thursday at the California Invitational Heptathlon Championships at Azusa Pacific College.

Hodari finished the two day competion (seven events) with 4,625 points.

On day two of the competition, Hodari scored 589 points in the long jump (16-9 1/4, 5.11m), 514 points in the javelin (104-11, 31.97m) and 650 points in the 800 meters (2:33.51). In the decathlon, Nicholas Taylor compiled 5,811 points to finish 15th.
