Stanford played host Saturday to the NCAA Western Regionalchampionships. This competition is part of the qualifying path tothe NCAA National Championships held in Texas the 17-22 of March.After a long day of 7 hours of competition the results are in:
Steve Gerberman - Men's Foil Champion
Iris Zimmerman - Women's Foil Champion
Jonathan Pearlstein - Men's Sabre Champion
Curtis Andrus - Men's Sabre second place
Martin Lee - Men's Epee Second Place
Aileen Malony - Women's Sabre Third Place
Overall the men swept the tournament and the women were third leavingStanford in second place to USAFA.
