Stanford, Ca - Drac Wigo, Ryan McCarthy and Sage Wright each scored three goals to lift the fourth-ranked Stanford men's water polo team to a convincing 13-5 victory over No. 17 Santa Clara in a non-league game on Sunday afternoon at the Avery Aquatic Center.
The Cardinal dominated from the start as they raced to a 4-1 first period lead, and 8-1 at halftime. Drac Wigo, Sage Wright and McCarthy gave Stanford a 3-0 lead before Santa Clara was able to get on the scoreboard.
Stanford will play its final home game of the season on Saturday, November 18, against Pacific. Game time is 10:00 a.m.
