Three Stanford Swimmers Compete At Pac-10 Invitational

Long Beach, Calif. - Three Stanford swimmers wrapped up their regular seasons by competing at the 2006 Pac-10 Invitational on Sunday at the Belmont Plaza Pool. Morgan Hentzen captured the 1650 free (17:07.35) and Caroline Rodriguez won the 100 back (56.48), while Lauren Costella was second in the 400 individual medley (4:28.32) but none of the swimmers reached either the NCAA "A" or "B" standard.

The psyche sheet for the 2006 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships will be announced next Friday, March 3.

The Stanford divers will attempt to qualify for the NCAA's at the NCAA Zone E Championships from March 9-11 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
