Stanford plays host to the 2007 Pac-10 Track and Field Championships, presented by 76 Gasolines this Saturday-Sunday, May 12-13. The Caridnal men will be in search of their third conference title (2001, `02), while the women look to claim the crown for the second time (2005). In 2005, Stanford ended UCLA's eight-year hold on the Pac-10 women's title with a convincing victory at UCLA's Drake Stadium.

POST SEASON SUCCESS
Stanford heads into this 2007 post season with a well balanced attack from both the men's and women's teams, which is they key to winning championships. The Cardinal will be looking to add to these already impressive numbers....

2006 PAC-10 CHAMPIONSHIPS IN REVIEW
Last year the Stanford men earned a seventh place finish as they posted 60 total points. USC took the men's title with their final score of 140 points. For the women, Stanford fell just short of the top spot with 151.5 points, while Arizona State claimed victory with 154 points. The Cardinal produced 5 winners during the two-day competition, the list includes: Chauntae Bayne (400 meters - 52.35), Arianna Lambie (1500 meters - 4:15.65), Erica McLain (Long Jump - 21-05 1/4, 6.53m; Triple Jump - 44-02 1/2, 13.47m), and the 4x400 meter Relay (3:32.69).
