Opening Statement:
"I would like to congratulate Santa Clara on a fine season, they had a lot of adversity, they had surgeries, and for them to come back and win their conference is truly amazing. They did a wonderful job and at this point in the season, you need to feel fortunate to win at this time in the season. You have to appreciate all the things they do, but I am happy that we are moving on to the next round.
On Sacramento State:
"This is one of the teams I respect the most this time of year. I think their coach is awesome, and I will miss her at the end of the year. I think they play hard every play of the match and will present a great challenge. They are a great coach and are very dangerous at this point in the season."
Stanford Freshman Alix Klineman
On continuing her momenteum:
"I think the biggest thing for me was keeping my consistency that I have had for the rest of the season. I thought we played well as a team and had a little sense of urgency because this could have been the last game of our season tonight.
Stanford Senior Bryn Kehoe
On Sacramento State:
"I saw Sacramento State against Minnesota and they are a great defensive team. They played a great defensive game tonight against Minnesota and it kept them in the game. We expect long rallies and it will definitely be a tough game.
