Two days into the PING/ASU Invitational from Tempe, Ariz., Stanford has fallen into 15th place. The Cardinal shot a second round score of 18-over-par 307 to move to 37-over-par for the tournament.
USC continues to lead after firing an even-par 288 to stay at 7-under-par for the tournament. The Trojans have built an eleven stroke lead over host Arizona State who sits in second place with a 4-over-par 580.
The rest of the top-5 is made up of Georgia at 6-over-par 582, Texas A&M at 7-over-par 583, and the University of Denver at 10-over-par 586.
On Saturday Stanford was led by freshman Rebecca Durham who shot a 3-over-par 75. Durham got off to an outstanding start playing her first nine holes at 3-under-par before faltering on her last nine. Durham's two-day total of 8-over-par 152 currently ties her for 47th.
Shooting rounds of 4-over-par 76 for Stanford were Mari Chun and Angela King. Chun now has a two-day total of 5-over-par 149 for a tie for 30th. King sits in a tie for 63rd with a two-day total of 11-over-par 155.
Also competing for Stanford were Saana Rapakko who shot a 7-over-par 79 and Catherina Wang who shot a 10-over-par 82. Both Cardinal golfers now have a two-day total of 16-over-par 160 and are tied for 78th.
Competing as an individual for Stanford was Ki-Shui Liao who shot a 6-over-par 78 for a two day total of 9-over-par 153, which ties her for 55th.
Stanford will return to the ASU Karsten Golf Course Sunday for the final round on he PING/ASU Invitational.
