COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Stanford's women's divers competed in the 3-meter competition on day one of the Art Adamson Invitational hosted by Texas A&M, with two qualifying for the eight-diver final. Junior Carmen Stellar placed fifth with a score of 269.45, while sophomore Meg Hostage placed eighth at 230.75. Freshman Mary Beth Corbett dove in the preliminaries and was 23rd with a score of 209.30.
The trio will dive again tomorrow in the 1-meter competition, with preliminaries set to begin at 10:30 a.m. PT.
