No. 6 Stanford men's volleyball struggled in their second match since taking a three-week break and fell to No. 12 USC in three games (30-26, 30-21, 30-19) to fall to .500 in MPSF conference play. Freshman Spencer McLachlin and sophomore Evan Romero led the Cardinal with nine kills each and sophomore Kawika Shoji added 31 assists in defeat.

The Trojans also posted 11 blocks, while the Cardinal were only able to post five of their own. The second and third game's also did not go Stanford's way as they hit .029 and .000 respectively in the second and third games.
