STANFORD, Calif. - Sarah Flynn, a sophomore attacker from Baltimore, earned the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation's co-player of the week for her play in Stanford's road split in Maryland.
Flynn scored three goals in a return to her hometown to lead Stanford to a 10-7 victory over Johns Hopkins on Friday. Flynn scored the opening goal to spark a strong start that gave Stanford a substantial early lead.
Flynn also scored two goals in a 20-12 loss at No. 2 Maryland on Sunday giving her a team-high 21 goals.
